Outdated facilities and decor felt disappointing compared to modern expectations!!! Missing basic features like ice machines made the stay less comfortable.

The location was spot on! Just a stroll to the Roman baths and major sights. The breakfast spread was yum with fresh pastries and coffee. Too bad the shower pressure was low, though. 😅

would definitely stop here again
The room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a tea/coffee maker. Loved the seating area and sofa bed for extra comfort. The fitness center was a nice touch, too. Breakfast had freshly baked pastries and a range of organic juices, making mornings great. The staff were super accommodating with special dietary needs.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bath. Easy access to shops and attractions made our visit more enjoyable. The staff greeted us politely, which gave a good first impression. Our room was quite small, not what I expected for the price we paid. I felt a bit cramped because the bathroom lacked space too. It was tough maneuvering around. Breakfast was decent but could have used more variety. most items tasted bland. A few staff members seemed unhelpful, and I had to wait a long time for assistance at times. The hotel décor felt quite dated, giving an overall shabby vibe. I also noticed some cleanliness issues. the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I had hoped. Enjoyed the fresh baked goods on arrival though, nice touch!

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The lounge area had a warm and inviting ambiance, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. I appreciated the thoughtful addition of charging ports on both sides of the bed, which enhanced the convenience during my stay.
The lounge area, while nice, could benefit from an expanded menu.

Excellent location but cleanliness needs attention
I really enjoyed the prime location, easy walking distance to all the main attractions in Bath, which made our stay enjoyable. Rooms were spacious and airy, but we encountered some issues with cleanliness, including dusty surfaces and stains in the bathroom that needed addressing.

A Wonderful Stay with Fantastic Service!
Our experience here was delightful. The superior king room was spacious and spotless, offering a cozy retreat after exploring Bath. The bar staff, especially a friendly gentleman with a ponytail, made our nights enjoyable with great recommendations. Don't miss the crispy hash browns at breakfast!

missingWrote a review on Aug 09efficient bathroomcentral locationawkward toilet roll
Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay! Super clean, with a bathroom that's basically hug-worthy—at least it's efficient. The location's spot on, right in the heart of everything fun to do.
But if you're in room 404, watch out for that sneaky toilet roll—it’s more of an ankle dart than a holder! Also, the bathroom felt like it was made for mice.

central spot perfect for exploring the beauty of bath
I loved the easy access to amazing spots like the stunning Royal Crescent, just under a kilometer away, and the beautiful Pulteney Bridge, which is only a short stroll from the hotel. it made my city walks incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling. The staff were nice and helpful, which really added to the welcoming vibe of the place.

missingWrote a review on Jul 09central locationspacious roomsshort-staffed reception
Location is prime, putting you right in the heart of the city, just a few minutes from the iconic sights. The rooms are spacious, and having a sofa bed is a nice touch for families.
Unfortunately, the hotel has some issues that really detract from the experience. The reception often felt short-staffed, leading to longer waits during peak times. Cleaning was inconsistent. tables in the bar area weren't cleared promptly, which left a messy atmosphere. In the room, the air conditioning struggled to keep up, which made things a bit uncomfortable. the bathrooms were lacking basic supplies—at one point, the shampoo dispenser was empty. Lastly, I was disappointed with my view. instead of a bath and river view as I requested & paid for, I got stuck looking at a dirty flat roof. considering the price, I'd expected more consistent quality from a hotel of this caliber.

The location was perfect for exploring Bath, with attractions just a short walk away. The breakfast had great choices and was a highlight of our stay. However, the room was quite cramped for our luggage, and housekeeping could have been better since the bed wasn’t made on one of the days.
